My Jewelry Design Philosophy

Fusing traditional and ancient jewelry construction techniques to create designs with an emphasis on a professional finish. Needle weaving with delicate glass beads forms the foundation for my art jewelry, color and texture are my passion. My jewelry designs are created using a mix of glass and metal beads, genuine precious stones, Swarovski® crystals, cultured pearls and other organic materials.

About The Artist

Expanding on a lifelong study of hand-stitched art while paying homage to beading traditions that date back to prehistory, Adrienne Gaskell fuses needle weaving with contemporary jewelry construction techniques to create her unique art jewelry. As an artist and a teacher, she is known for her meticulous craftsmanship and emphasis on a professional finish. Adrienne attributes her background in textiles for her unexpected color combinations, one of the trademarks of her work.

Her award winning jewelry is available at juried art shows or by private commission. She teaches beadweaving as well as jewelry construction and design to all levels of enthusiasts in a series of workshops throughout the country. As co-founder and president of the South Florida Jewelry Arts Guild she enjoys mentoring emerging jewelry artists.
